Plainville – Crash Victim Identified
The victim of last Sunday’s crash in Plainville has been identified.
35-year-old Denise Santana of Southington was driving on Ledge Road, in the vicinity of the Sunset Rock State Park, when her vehicle suddenly swerved off the road, falling down a rock embankment. Santana sustained critical injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead by emergency crews. The accident forced officials to close down Ledge Road for several hours to facilitate the extraction of Santana’s vehicle. The incident remains under investigation. Officials will continue to release updates as they become available.
