Plainfield – Officials Investigating Crash
Local officials are investigating an accident in Plainfield last Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred on Lathrop Road, close to the I-395 overpass, at approximately 4:30 p.m. A blue 2004 Honda Odyssey collided with a black 2007 Honda Civic. Injuries were reported by authorities, and emergency crews have since cleared the scene. Investigators are still working on identifying the cause of the crash. The identities of those involved and other information relevant to the incident will be released by officials when appropriate.
Some road accidents don’t always exhibit obvious signs of negligence or reckless behavior, so investigators always study all possible angles when establishing accountability/liability. This is noteworthy because if any of these factors are explicitly proven, injured parties can be entitled to damages/compensation.
