Oxford – Rollover Crash
A car crashed and overturned in Oxford Monday afternoon.
A vehicle was traveling near the intersection of Hogs Back and Oxford Roads when it suddenly veered off the roadway, falling down a small hill and rolling over before coming to a stop just short of Little River. The driver was reportedly trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by responders. The victim has since been tended to by medical personnel. There is currently no indication DUI or other vehicles were involved in the incident. The case is still under investigation.
The possibility of DUI or reckless behavior is frequently mentioned when authorities investigate road accidents as these factors can hurt or even kill motorists and pedestrians. It goes without saying, negligence on any road should not be tolerated, and offenders may face claims or charges filed by the state and by those they’ve injured. Legal experts can help aggrieved parties understand and pursue these options.
