Orange – Motorcyclist Killed In Intersection Crash
An intersection crash in Orange last Sunday evening resulted in a fatality.
At approximately 9:15 p.m., authorities responded to reports of a collision on Derby-Milford Road and discovered a motorcycle that collided with a car. According to officials, the rider was traveling north on Derby-Milford when a Mercedes-Benz coming from Glenbrook Road attempted to turn onto the southbound side of the said roadway, resulting in the crash. The driver of the car, a 63-year-old woman, was not injured. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was immediately brought to the hospital where he eventually died. The identities of those involved have been withheld pending an investigation of the incident. Authorities are asking possible witnesses to contact them as soon as possible.
