Norwich – Multiple Injuries After Crash

Two people were hospitalized following a crash in Norwich yesterday morning.

The accident occurred on Harland Road near Lambert Drive. Two vehicles reportedly collided in the area, resulting in heavy damage and serious injuries to two motorists. Emergency responders quickly arrived and transported the victims to the hospital for treatment. No word yet if there were other people involved in the crash. The incident forced the closure of Harland Road to allow authorities to clear the scene. The area has since been cleared of obstructions. The case is currently under active investigation. Officials will release more details as their investigation progresses.

In many cases, blocking off roadways is necessary so that investigators can do their work in relative safety. Suffice it to say, establishing accountability is an important step in processing crash sites. This will allow authorities to bring culprits to justice, as well as allow injured parties to seek damages in cases where DUI, negligence or reckless behavior have been accurately identified.
