Norwich – Hit-And-Run Suspect Still At Large
Authorities are still looking for a motorist who struck and injured a pedestrian in Norwich last month.
The incident occurred at 6:07 p.m. on February 24, 2020, near the intersection of Chelsea Harbor Drive and West Main Street. A pedestrian was walking in the area when he was struck by a silver sedan whose driver then immediately fled the scene. The victim sustained multiple injuries and was unable to provide any info regarding the vehicle that hit him. As of posting time, local officials are still looking for the suspect and asking witnesses or anyone with potentially useful info to contact them as soon as possible.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, many pedestrian incidents remain unsolved without the help of the public. Witnesses are always encouraged to help officials investigate these incidents as establishing accountability will not only allow authorities to apprehend culprits, it will also allow victims to find closure.
