Newtown – Injury After Motorcycle Rider Crashes

A motorcyclist had to be transported to the hospital after his vehicle crashed in Newtown last Saturday.

At about 9:15 a.m., 61-year-old Dwight Floyd of Bristol was turning towards exit 10 of I-84 crossing Newtown when he lost control and slid. His motorcycle landed on its right side while he was ejected and landed on his back. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and transported Floyd to Danbury Hospital immediately after he complained of chest pain. No charges were filed by authorities.

There have been cases where single-vehicle accidents can be attributed to driver error or bad road conditions. In this type of case where driver negligence is eliminated, aggrieved parties who sustain injuries can file for personal injury claims with the help of expert legal counsel.
