Newtown – Injuries After Car Crashes Into House
A car crashes into a house in Newtown last Friday morning.
At approximately 9:20 a.m., a Toyota sedan driven by a 17-year-old male plowed into a property at the corner of Cherry Street and Cherry Heights Terrace, damaging gas and water lines in the house. The residents of the property were not injured. The driver of the vehicle sustained injuries and was brought to the hospital for evaluation and treatment. The car was lodged inside the house and had to be removed by emergency crews. The identity of the driver and other details relevant to the case have yet to be disclosed by officials.
