New Milford – Serious Injuries After Head-On Crash
A head-on crash with entrapment occurred in New Milford yesterday morning.
Authorities responded to a report of a crash that happened at around 8:00 a.m. on Route 7 crossing New Milford, near the Kent and Cedar Hill Roads intersection. One person was trapped inside one of the involved vehicles and had to be extricated by firefighters. It took them around 15 minutes to free the victim. At 8:30 a.m., the person was already being transported to Danbury Hospital for evaluation and treatment. Route 7 was closed immediately after the accident and was reopened at 9:00 a.m.
