New London – Serious Injuries After Equipment Accident
A woman was seriously injured after a store accident in New London yesterday.
The accident occurred at an NSA Supermarket located on South Frontage Road. Emergency crews responded to the incident at approximately 3:19 p.m. and discovered a woman trapped inside a store compactor. She sustained serious injuries from the accident. Authorities extricated her from the machine and immediately transported her to L&M Hospital for treatment. The case is still being investigated. Officials are asking anyone who may have information about the incident to contact them as soon as possible.
