New London – Pedestrian Injured By Truck
A pedestrian was hit by a pickup truck in New London yesterday morning.
At approximately 8:37 a.m., a pedestrian was walking on Vauxhall Street when he/she was hit by a passing pickup truck. The truck then rolled over and ended up on its right side. The pedestrian and the truck driver both sustained injuries in the incident and were immediately transported by emergency crews to the hospital for treatment. The identities of the victims have yet to be disclosed by authorities pending an investigation of the crash. The public will be updated when officials gather more information.
