New Canaan – Highway Accident
Authorities were alerted to an accident in New Canaan yesterday evening.
At approximately 6:18 p.m., fire and EMS crews were dispatched to the northbound lanes of Route 15 after receiving reports of an accident that occurred about half a mile past Exit 37 (Route 124/South Avenue). A still unspecified number of vehicles was involved in a crash that resulted in injuries. Responders quickly assisted motorists affected by the incident and immediately started cleanup operations. The scene was cleared less than an hour later. The crash is still under investigation. This post will be updated as soon as more information arrives.
