Montville – Motorcycle Accident With Injuries
A motorcycle rider was injured in a crash in Montville last Saturday morning.
31-year-old Edward Mabe of Maple Avenue was riding his moped on Route 32 last Saturday when he suddenly swerved off the roadway, crashing into a utility pole before coming to a stop. He sustained serious injuries in the crash and was transported to the William H. Backus Hospital in Norwich for treatment. Authorities have not discovered evidence suggesting other vehicles were involved in the incident. No word yet on the current status of the victim and the incident is still under investigation.
