Monroe – Truck Crashes Into Home

Authorities were alerted to an early morning accident in Monroe last Friday.

Fire and EMS crews were dispatched to Wheeler Road after receiving reports of a crash that occurred at approximately 2:45 a.m. According to responders, a white pickup truck swerved off the road, hitting and breaking a utility pole before crashing into a residential building. Injuries were reported, and emergency crews have since assisted everyone affected by the incident. Officials also contacted Eversource to replace the broken pole. The identities of those involved have yet to be disclosed pending an investigation. This post will be updated as soon as authorities release more information.
