Monroe – Injuries At Crash-Prone Intersection
Two cars collided at a crash-prone intersection in Monroe yesterday afternoon.
Fire and EMS crews responded to the intersection of Route 110 (Shelton Road) and Wheeler Road to assist motorists involved in a two-vehicle crash that resulted in moderate damage and personal injuries. It’s the second crash at the intersection in a week. On August 13, two vehicles collided at the same intersection, also resulting in heavy damage and injuries. Medical personnel have already tended to motorists involved in yesterday’s crash, and officials have started investigating the incident. Updates will be provided as they become available.
Investigators need to accurately identify the causes of these accidents so that state and local officials can implement changes that will make these roads safer for everyone. Having said that, motorists injured in these incidents can consult legal experts to determine a suitable course of action that will help them find closure after these unfortunate events.
