Monroe – Charges Filed In DUI Incident
Charges were just filed in connection with a DUI incident in Monroe that injured several minors.
At approximately 10:35 p.m. on October 5th, a vehicle with four occupants crashed on Blanket Meadow Road, resulting in multiple injuries. The car then burst into flames and was completely wrecked in the crash. The subsequent investigation revealed that the four victims were minors who just left a party in a house owned by 54- and 55-year-old Grace and Edward Gruber, respectively. The homeowners were charged with allowing minors to possess alcohol and are scheduled to appear in court on December 19.
The hosts of the party stated in this case exhibited negligence by allowing the victims to leave their property after consuming alcohol. Regardless of circumstances, DUI is a serious offense, and it’s only appropriate that negligent parties are made accountable for their actions.
