Milford – Vehicle Swerves Off Highway
A vehicle swerved off the highway and into the woods in Milford early Friday morning.
At approximately 12:09 a.m., authorities were alerted to a crash on Merritt Parkway (Route 15) and immediately sent road crews to the accident scene. According to reports, a vehicle carrying a still unspecified number of motorists swerved off the highway near Exit 54, crashing deep into the woods. Responders found the vehicle with all airbags deployed and immediately started extricating people trapped inside. Medical personnel were quickly called in to tend to those injured. Based on evidence gathered so far, no other vehicle was involved in the incident.
