Milford – Multiple-Vehicle Collision On Highway
Several vehicles figured in a highway crash in Milford early Sunday morning.
The incident was reported at around 1:01 a.m. and prompted officials to dispatch fire and EMS crews to the southbound lanes of I-95. A crash between four vehicles occurred near Exit 40 (Woodmont Road), blocking off the leftmost lane of the interstate. Paramedics have since accounted for and tended to all motorists injured in the incident, and road crews have since cleared the site of all obstructions. Officials have yet to identify anyone involved in the crash pending an investigation into its possible cause. Updates will be provided when appropriate.
In many cases, the causes of accidents involving multiple vehicles can be traced to specific factors/events that can be challenging to identify. That said, authorities will always have the necessary means to accurately establish accountability in all of these situations. This not only allows culprits to be brought to justice, but also enables victims/injured parties to pursue legal opportunities that can help them find closure.
