Milford – Interstate Accident
A midnight crash was reported on the highway in Milford early Thursday morning.
At 12:18 a.m., reports came in of an accident that occurred about a quarter of a mile past Exit 40 on I-95 South. The incident prompted authorities to send fire and EMS teams to the area to assist all affected motorists. A portion of the interstate was also blocked off to allow emergency crews to safely process the site. No word yet on the total number of involved vehicles or the possible cause of the crash. We will update this post as soon as more info is released by officials.
Nighttime driving inherently carries a higher risk of crashes/collisions and, in case of an accident, is also more dangerous to crash responders. Clearing these crash sites is always the primary objective, while still allowing investigators enough time to collect evidence so that accountability can be effectively established. These things said, parties injured in these situations are advised to review their options by consulting legal experts.
