Mansfield – Vehicle Crashes Into Tree

A female driver was injured when her vehicle smashed into a tree in Mansfield last Sunday.

At approximately 5:00 p.m., local authorities were alerted to an accident on Maple Road. According to reports, a vehicle with a female driver crashed into a roadside tree near Davis Road. Firefighters and paramedics quickly arrived at the scene and assisted the injured motorist. She was then transported to Windham Community Memorial Hospital for further treatment. No word yet on whether or not another vehicle or pedestrian was involved in the incident. The crash is still under investigation, and officials will release more info as their investigation progresses.

Authorities handling this type of accident will always look at the possibility of other parties causing these incidents. In the absence of outside factors, product/vehicle defects are then considered. Of course, there are still other factors that can be looked at, and investigators are expected to study all of these. Whatever the outcome, if officials discover negligence, injured parties (including drivers) not responsible for these crashes may have legal options they can explore and pursue with the help of expert legal counsel.
