Manchester – Hit-And-Run Suspect Wanted
Two court employees were injured by a hit-and-run suspect in Manchester Monday morning.
At around 11:30 a.m., 42-year-old Jose Antonio Lopez was inside the town courthouse when he attempted to escape the scene following a reported incident inside the building. He was chased into the parking lot by two court marshals who were then injured after Lopez ran them over with a vehicle. Both victims have since been tended to by medical personnel. Authorities are currently looking for Lopez and a white vehicle with significant front-end damage incurred in the court incident. Witnesses are encouraged to contact State Police as soon as possible.
Witnesses can prove invaluable in these situations. Suffice it to say, the suspect has to be apprehended so that further damage or harm can be avoided. That said, people injured in similar scenarios are advised to consult legal experts as there could be avenues appropriate to these types of cases.
