Hamden – Truck Accident On Highway
A truck rolled over on the highway in Hamden yesterday.
Fire crews responded to reports of a crash on the westbound side of Route 40 and discovered a box truck that rolled over, trapping its driver inside. Officials also had to deal with leaking fuel tanks and advised other motorists to avoid the area. The crash is currently under investigation. Authorities will release updates as they become available.
Truck accidents are always investigated for possible product/vehicle defects as these factors have caused similar incidents in the past. That said, if authorities discover any form of negligence in these cases, those injured may have the option of filing for damages/compensation under appropriate circumstances.
