Guilford – Students Injured In Collision
Students were injured after an accident that happened in Guilford last Friday morning.
The accident occurred near 4700 Durham Road (Route 77) and involved a school bus carrying nine students and a pickup truck. According to officials, the pickup truck crashed into the left side of the bus, forcing it off the road and into a large tree. Emergency crews quickly arrived at the scene and immediately transported five students and the bus driver to the hospital for evaluation and treatment of injuries. The pickup truck driver refused treatment by medical crews. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
