Greenwich – Interstate Accident
State and local authorities responded to an accident in Greenwich yesterday.
The incident occurred on the southbound side of I-95, less than half a mile from the New York-Connecticut border, at approximately 5:55 p.m. Emergency crews have arrived to assist those injured in the crash involving a still unspecified number of vehicles. Sections of the highway were closed following the accident, but officials were able to clear the site by 7:12 p.m. Officials are still investigating the incident. More information, including the identities of those involved, will be provided when appropriate.
