Fairfield – Store Employee Injured By Driver
A fast-food store employee was injured by a driver in Fairfield yesterday evening.
At approximately 9:19 p.m., a drive-thru employee working at a store on 1835 Black Rock Turnpike was injured when the driver of a customer vehicle grabbed her arm and attempted to pull her out the store window. The employee sustained a head injury in the incident and was quickly tended to by emergency responders. She was able to take note of the vehicle’s plate number as it left the establishment. Authorities are currently investigating the incident and looking for the suspect responsible for the injury.
As this case is still under investigation, officials have yet to establish liability in the incident.
