A fast-food store employee was injured by a driver in Fairfield yesterday evening.

At approximately 9:19 p.m., a drive-thru employee working at a store on 1835 Black Rock Turnpike was injured when the driver of a customer vehicle grabbed her arm and attempted to pull her out the store window. The employee sustained a head injury in the incident and was quickly tended to by emergency responders. She was able to take note of the vehicle’s plate number as it left the establishment.
