Fairfield – Multiple Injuries In Crash
Two motorists were injured in a downtown crash in Fairfield yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred on Post Road (Route 1). A local police officer was responding to an incident report and traveling on that road when she was struck by another vehicle in front of Pronto Chop Shop & Pizzeria. Both motorists sustained injuries. The officer was taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center, while the second driver was transported to Bridgeport Hospital. The incident is currently under investigation and no charges have been filed yet. This post will be updated as soon as more info becomes available.
