Enfield – Fatal Pedestrian Accident
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Enfield last Saturday evening.
At around 7:20 p.m., 65-year-old Robert Hubbard was walking in front of his residence near the intersection of Enfield Street and Broadleaf Lane when he was struck by a 2012 Hyundai Sonata. Hubbard sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Authorities have yet to provide details regarding the striking vehicle and its operator, but no charges have been filed as of posting time. The case is currently under active investigation.
