Ellington – Serious Injuries In Bike Accident

A bike rider was seriously hurt in an accident in Ellington last Wednesday.

At 5:48 p.m., 31-year-old Stephen Cordner of Vernon was backing out of a driveway when a dirt bike collided with his vehicle. 23-year-old Kent Bahler of Ellington was riding the bike and sustained serious injuries in the crash, while Cordner was not injured. Emergency teams were dispatched on-site and transported Bahler to Hartford Hospital. The location of the incident has yet to be disclosed by officials, and it’s not yet clear what caused the collision. The case is still under investigation.
