Danielson – Vehicle Crash And Fire

An SUV crashed and caught fire in Danielson Tuesday evening.

At 10:02 p.m., firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to 557 Putnam Road after officials received reports of a crash in the area. Responders found a 2009 Nissan Rogue that had swerved off the roadway, crashing into a tree and catching fire. The driver, a 31-year-old Plainfield resident, extricated himself from the burning SUV and refused treatment by medical personnel. The incident is under investigation, and updates will be provided when authorities release more info.

It is only appropriate for all crash victims to be evaluated and treated by medical personnel as many of these incidents can cause long-term effects, such as whiplash injuries, when not addressed properly. That said, people injured in various road accidents, and particularly those involving negligence, are advised to seek legal assistance so that any option available to them can be properly explored.
