Cromwell – Overturned Semi In Highway Crash
An accident closed down I-91 in Cromwell yesterday afternoon.
The crash occurred on the southbound side of the highway, between exits 21 and 20. According to authorities, a tractor-trailer overturned, resulting in heavy delays that lasted several hours. Emergency crews quickly arrived to attend to everyone involved in the crash, and LifeStar support was also requested. The identity of those involved and the severity of their injuries have yet to be disclosed by officials pending an investigation. Updates will be released when appropriate.
Authorities requesting ancillary support services, like LifeStar, almost always indicates serious or critical injuries that require prompt attention. Taking note of this is important because once officials investigate these incidents, and if product defects or negligence is discovered, injured motorists would have the option of filing for damages if their legal counsel deems it appropriate.
