Cromwell – Multiple Charges Filed Against Suspect
Authorities have filed multiple charges against a suspect involved in a recent police chase in Cromwell.
Officials were looking for 36-year-old Samuel Moore in an attempt to question him regarding a possible probation violation. At this point, Moore fled his residence and got into a vehicle. A police chase ensued, concluding when the suspect crashed into another vehicle with two occupants at the intersection of Evergreen Road and Route 3. Moore then fled on foot but was eventually apprehended by officers. He is now facing multiple charges, including violation of probation and reckless endangerment. The incident is still under active investigation and more updates will be released when appropriate.
Authorities would always try to avoid drawn-out vehicle chases as these can result in unexpected collateral effects/injuries, as this case exemplifies. Having said that, people who are injured due to the reckless behavior of others would benefit from the advice that legal experts can provide. Under appropriate circumstances, filing for damages/compensation may be an appropriate response.
