Bristol – Motorists Injured After Crash
Two people were hospitalized after a collision in Bristol yesterday afternoon.
A few minutes before 5:00 p.m., authorities received reports of an accident near the intersection of Route 229 (Middle Street) and Battisto Road. Emergency crews dispatched to the area discovered two vehicles that had collided, resulting in heavy damage and injuries. A Nissan Sentra apparently hit the side of a Hyundai Elantra. Two people involved in the crash were taken to the hospital for treatment. Officials had to close a portion of Route 229 to facilitate towing of the damaged vehicles. The area has since been cleared. The case is currently under investigation.
Intersection accidents tend to result in heavy damage and, in many cases, serious injuries. Identifying who or what caused these incidents can help authorities improve road safety for everyone. That said, anyone injured in similar situations may have the option of filing for compensation/damages if their legal counsel deems it appropriate.
