Bridgeport – Workplace Accident
A workplace accident was reported in Bridgeport Wednesday afternoon.
At 2:09 p.m., authorities dispatched firefighters and paramedics to North Washington Avenue after receiving reports of an accident in the area. According to initial reports, an on-duty employee fell twenty feet inside a Bushwick Metals facility. Responders quickly tended to the victim, but no word yet on the severity of injuries sustained or where the victim was transported. The case is currently under investigation. Officials have yet to release other details but are expected to do so when appropriate.
