Bridgeport – Teen Pedestrian Hit By Car
A 16-year-old pedestrian was hit by a passing car in Bridgeport yesterday evening.
The incident occurred on Boston Avenue (Route 1), just in front of Lakeview Cemetery, at approximately 7:50 p.m. According to officials, the driver of the vehicle immediately fled the area after the hit, going down Central Avenue. The suspect was eventually apprehended at the intersection of Stillman and Pembroke Streets. The case is currently under investigation.
