Bridgeport – Several Injured In Intersection Crash

An intersection crash in Bridgeport last Saturday evening results in several injuries.

At approximately 6:20 p.m., authorities responded to reports of an accident at the intersection of Madison and Garfield Avenues and discovered a multiple-vehicle crash. According to witnesses, a motorcycle was hit by another vehicle, resulting in serious injuries. People around the accident site assisted the rider by removing him from under the vehicle that hit his motorcycle. There have also been reports of a pedestrian injury, although officials have yet to confirm this. Emergency crews brought everyone injured to St. Vincent’s Medical Center for treatment. The crash remains under investigation. Authorities will provide further updates when appropriate.

Accidents involving several (or different types of) vehicles have to be investigated thoroughly because, in many cases, the causes of these incidents are not immediately apparent. That said, if investigators establish negligence or reckless behavior in any of these accidents, injured parties will have the option of filing for damages/compensation under appropriate circumstances.
