Bridgeport – Serious Injuries In Pedestrian Accident
A pedestrian was injured in a crash in Bridgeport last Friday evening.
A few minutes past 6:00 p.m., reports came in of a pedestrian incident on William Street. Responders dispatched to the area discovered a pedestrian who was seriously hurt after he was struck by a vehicle traveling south on the roadway. The victim was quickly transported to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment. Instead of stopping, the driver of the striking vehicle fled the area and was last seen traveling south. Authorities have yet to identify the injured pedestrian and are currently investigating the accident. Witnesses are encouraged to contact officials as soon as possible.
