Bridgeport – Pedestrian Incident Update
Local officials have released an update regarding the pedestrian accident in Bridgeport last Wednesday.
According to the suspect’s testimony, he was driving north on Park Avenue when the victim struck his driver’s side mirror. He continued driving and claimed he was unaware he may have hit a pedestrian. The driver was eventually apprehended and issued a ticket. The victim, on the other hand, just left a convenience store and was trying to cross the highway when he was hit by the suspect’s vehicle. He sustained injuries in the incident. Authorities will release more information as they become available.
