Bridgeport – Pedestrian Accident
A person was transported to the hospital following an accident in Bridgeport last Friday evening.
At approximately 9:12 p.m., an ambulance responding to another incident discovered a pedestrian who was hit by a car on Boston Avenue (Route 1), near its intersection with Bishop Avenue. Emergency crews inside the ambulance reported the incident and immediately transported the victim to the hospital. The identity of the pedestrian has yet to be disclosed by officials. The case is currently being investigated. Additional information will be released as they become available. Authorities are also asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them right away.
