Bridgeport – Officer Injured By Suspect Vehicle
A police detective was injured in Bridgeport yesterday afternoon.
Bridgeport Police was conducting an investigation on Pembroke Street when several drug suspects tried to flee the area of concern. A detective was injured when the fleeing vehicle struck the officer at the intersection of Pembroke Street and Crescent Avenue. Emergency crews have since taken the injured person to the hospital for treatment. Authorities have arrested the suspects and will release additional information regarding the incident when appropriate.
