Bridgeport – Injuries After Scooter Hit-And-Run
One person was injured and brought to the hospital after a hit-and-run incident in Bridgeport yesterday afternoon.
A 911 call was reported by Bridgeport Police at 3:43 p.m. A crash had occurred at the intersection of Ogden and Brooks Streets. According to officials, a scooter crashed into a sedan near the intersection but immediately fled the scene. A witness saw the scooter running towards Pembroke Street. Emergency crews arrived at the scene to assist the occupants of the car. Injuries were reported and at least one passenger was taken to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment. The incident is still being investigated by officials.
