Bridgeport – Hit-And-Run Crash
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Bridgeport early Sunday morning.
At around 2:00 a.m., a pedestrian was at the intersection of Pequonnock Street and Harral Avenue when he/she was hit by a passing vehicle whose driver then fled the area. The victim sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital by responders. Local authorities are currently reviewing witness reports and video footage to identify the striking vehicle and its operator. Officials have yet to identify the victim and will do so in due time. Anyone with relevant info is encouraged to contact Bridgeport Police and contribute to the investigation.
