Bridgeport – Highway Accident Closes Lanes
A highway accident in Bridgeport yesterday morning caused heavy delays in the area.
The incident occurred on the northbound lanes of Route 8 crossing Bridgeport, between exits 2 and 4. According to officials, a car was involved in a serious accident. Injuries were reported, and emergency crews had to close two lanes of the highway immediately after the incident, resulting in heavy traffic on the northbound side of the highway. Highway accidents can be caused by negligence, DUI or reckless behavior. But it’s also worth noting that product/vehicle defects have caused serious accidents in the past. All of these possibilities will be investigated by authorities. If any of these factors are established by officials, aggrieved parties, with the help of legal experts, can file for compensation/damage claims.
