Bridgeport – Child Pedestrian Injured
A pedestrian was injured in Bridgeport yesterday evening.
A few minutes past 7:00 p.m., a child pedestrian was hit by a quad at the intersection of Ogden and East Main Streets. Instead of staying, the quad rider fled the scene. Emergency crews have attended to the victim and have since cleared the scene. Authorities are now looking for the suspect in this hit-and-run case and are asking anyone who may have knowledge of the incident to contact them as soon as possible.
Pedestrian safety is well-protected under state and local laws, so those injured due to negligence, DUI or reckless behavior may be entitled to file for damages/compensation under proper circumstances. Incidents of hit-and-run will only strengthen these cases against accident culprits.
