Berlin – Highway Off-Ramp Accident

Highway traffic in Berlin was affected after a vehicle accident yesterday.

At around 5:20 p.m., local officials received reports of a crash on the northbound lanes of Route 9, in the area of Exit 21 (Route 372/Mill Street). Accident responders were quickly dispatched to the area to assist motorists injured in a crash involving a still unspecified number of vehicles. The incident forced the closure of a portion of the roadway, though road crews were able to clear the scene less than half an hour later. No updates have been provided yet regarding the extent of injuries and damage. This post will be updated once authorities release more information.

As is always the case, officials have priorities in handling road accidents, particularly on major thoroughfares. The safety of all motorists is the primary concern, followed by accurately establishing accountability. The second point is relevant to victims of accidents as it allows them various options that will help them seek justice and find closure, particularly when it comes to damage/compensation claims.
