Ashford – Utility Pole Crash
A car crashed into a pole in Ashford yesterday morning.
A section of Route 89 (Westford Road) north of Route 44 (Ashford Center Road) was closed following an accident involving a car that had hit a utility pole, causing minor injuries to a still unspecified number of people. Officials advised motorists in the area to take alternate routes while they investigated and cleared the accident site. Emergency crews have already arrived to tend to everyone involved in the crash.
