Ansonia – Pedestrian Hit And Injured By Vehicle
A car hit several pedestrians at a supermarket in Ansonia last Sunday.
The accident occurred at Stop & Shop on Division Street. According to authorities, a white sedan crashed into several pedestrians on a store sidewalk. One person sustained a serious leg injury after getting trapped between the vehicle and a building structure, while another victim sustained head injuries. The driver of the car was also hurt in the incident. All three victims were eventually transported by several ambulances to the hospital for treatment. Officials declined to identify those involved in the accident pending an investigation. Updates will be provided at an appropriate time.
