Ansonia – Gunshot Injuries Following Incident
A man was hospitalized following a shooting incident in Ansonia early Tuesday morning.
At approximately 1:08 a.m., authorities received reports of gunfire at the intersection of Wakelee Avenue and Clarkson Street. Emergency teams were sent to the area and discovered a 19-year-old New Haven resident with a gunshot injury. He was quickly tended to by paramedics, after which he was transported to the hospital for further treatment. Officials did not find any suspect at the scene and are currently investigating the incident. Witnesses are requested to contact authorities as soon as possible.
