Winsted – Late Evening Motorcycle Crash
A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Winsted late Friday evening.
The incident occurred in front of 734 East Wakefield Boulevard at around 9:30 p.m. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found 29-year-old Charles Godshall lying on the road unconscious. Fire crews tended to the victim and performed CPR. Eventually, he was pronounced dead at 11:03 p.m. According to investigators, Godshall was possibly traveling north on East Wakefield Boulevard when he fell off his motorcycle, hitting a pole and wall. Officials are still investigating the incident.
