Windham – Pedestrian Injured By Vehicle
A pedestrian was injured in an accident in Windham late Friday afternoon.
At approximately 5:00 p.m., or just before the start of the annual town parade, a man was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Main and Watson Streets. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Windham Community Memorial Hospital. Officials later disclosed that the victim was airlifted via LifeStar to another hospital for further treatment. No word yet on the identity of the victim or the whereabouts of the driver. Authorities are currently investigating the accident and will release more info when appropriate.
