Windham – Crash With Multiple Injuries

Two vehicles collided in Windham last Thursday.

A few minutes past 6:00 p.m., a 2011 Dodge Dakota and a 2012 Subaru Impreza collided at the intersection of Northridge Drive and Boston Post Road. Subaru driver 20-year-old Ethan Deschene of Lebanon and his passenger, 20-year-old Isiah Pehow-dy, were hospitalized following the crash. 57-year-old Christopher Sardi of Eastford was driving the Dodge. A subsequent investigation revealed that Deschene caused the collision by failing to heed to a stop sign. He has since been issued an infraction.

This case exhibits some of the circumstances that precede intersection collisions: negligent behavior and failure to obey traffic rules. Motorists are frequently injured in these crashes, and that makes preventing these incidents crucial. Taking reckless drivers off the road is an effective step towards this goal. These things said, people injured due to negligence should consult legal experts to determine if there are avenues they can explore that might help them cope and find closure.
